Xperia X5 Concept Design, an iPhone Clone
28/04/2009 00:22
I’ve seen my share of Xperia concept phones, specially that last one designed by Tigershark42 from Esato, but this one adds a breath of fresh air to the core of the device. I’m talking about the Xperia X5, tob!s’ full touchscreen phone that looks pretty neat actually, although it borrows a couple of design traits from the Apple iPhone. The Xperia X5 comes with an 8 megapixels camera with autofocus and a Xenon flash, plus 8 gigs of internal memory and the usual WiFi, GPS and UMTS support. Its display is a 3.2″ inch screen and the specs list ends with an M2 slot. One good Photoshop work, I’ll give you that and let all nay-sayers criticize this, as any iPhone clone branded Xperia is good enough for my standards.

Sony Ericsson Hikaru (Hicaru) Rendition, Nicer Than the Leaked Pic?
28/04/2009 00:20
You might call it Sony Ericsson Hicaru or Hikaru, but one thing is for sure: the device looks awesome and it might just bring that SE Paris back to life. Last time, we’ve shown you a leaked pic of the device and now we’ll one-up the stakes by having a look at the Hikaru concept phone designed by pavlov’s_dog from the Esato board.
As the designer says, the handset’s design philosophy takes its inspiration from Sony Ericsson P990.

Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 Incorporates a PSP and What Not
28/04/2009 00:15
The XPERIA X10 concept phone was created by Esato forum user Tigershark42 and is pretty much the dream of every geek out there. It’s a hybrid between a PSP console and the already famous Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1, using 3 slide modes and running UIQ.
First comes the classical top-bottom slide, than the slide of the top part to the left in order to reveal a landscape QWERTY keyboard and finally there’s the right slide that gives the user access to PSP-like gaming controls. The phone also uses an arc-slider mechanism that improves the viewing angle and comes with a stylus.
In case you were wondering about the specs of the XPERIA X10 here they are: 3″ VGA or WVGA touchscreen, quadband GSM, WLAN b/g, HSDPA/HSUPA, aGPS, accelerometer, a 5.0 megapixels camera (with Xenon flash), a QWERTY keyboard, a VGA camera upfront and 8 gigs of internal memory.
That’s not all, as the handset also includes an M2 slot, uses Opera 9.5 for browsing, Flash Lite 3 and gaming functionality.

The W988 Concept Phone, an Uber-Upgraded Sony Ericsson W980
22/04/2009 15:27
After seeing the latest Sony Ericsson concepts coming straight from Esato, it’s time to make the pair a trio with the aid of this W988 handset. The beautiful device was created by NightBlade and it’s basically an upgraded version of the W980 Walkman phone.
W988 comes with Walkman On Top, an internal 2.4″ QVGA screen, an external OLED display and a 5 megapixels camera with PhotoFlash and autofocus. Also, the device features 8 GB of internal memory plus an M2 slot, GPS and WiFi. The rest of the specs are the same as on the original W980 handset, but the look of the phone is worth more than its features, if you ask me.

Sony Ericsson XPERIA X902 Concept Features an 8.1 Megapixels Camera
22/04/2009 15:25
Recipe of the day: the XPERIAshot burger. Take half a pound of XPERIA looks, add an 8.1 megapixels camera taken from the best Cyber-shot handset you can imagine and finish the product by adding new buttons on the device’s front side.
The result? Razec’s incredible concept, shown on Esato, the Sony Ericsson X902, or the XPERIA that got a brand new camera.
