Nokia Ultra Low Touch Concept Phone

Well, touchscreen had met low end before, but never under Nokia branding. The Finns only have a high end device (the N97) and a music phone that can be placed on the borderline between high end and mid end, both featuring a touchscreen. But what about low end phones packing such displays?
Here’s the so-called “Nokia Ultra Low Touch” concept, a pretty basic handset with a touchscreen on board.
Notice the presence of a flashlight function and a design that reminds me of Nokia 5800 XpressMusic, but somewhat on the “iPod nano” side of things. Real or fake?

Nokia Gaming Concept Phone Packs a QWERTY Keyboard, Touchscreen

Beatmag from Mobile-Review designed a very promising Nokia gaming phone, that strays away from the N-Gage series and looks more like an Internet tablet. Notice the presence of a touchscreen (3.2 or 3.3 inches, 16:9) on the specs list, plus a QWERTY keypad, action buttons (X, Y) and a directional pad.
What’s the deal with that old-school game on the screen? I guess it’s an emulated title of some sort, since the graphics are so last-gen, but the concept device is pretty promising, although it’s a bit too big for our taste.

Nokia N95 8GB is the ultimate smartphone, as it’s got everything one can dream of, except a touchscreen… Not that it misses it too much, but there are a couple of forward-thinking folks out there who imagined the device featuring such a display. Known as beatmag, the designer of Nokia N95 8GB Touch concept did a terrific job, by improving a handset that’s already great.
