O2 Germany starts selling the Samsung I7500 Galaxy

Some of you might have noticed the image of Samsung I7500 Galaxy showing up on our first page right under the writing "In stores now". And there is a reason for it: as of today it is available at the O2 Germany sales points.

If you live in Germany and want to be among the first owners of the Galaxy, prepare 69.99 euro along with a 24-month contract with a 21.25 euro monthly.

Still, this is a very powerful device based on the Android OS. It sports a 528 MHz Qualcomm processor, 128MB RAM memory and 8GB of storage. The I7500 Galaxy also packs Bluetooth and Wi-Fi and offers HSDPA support.

Almost the whole fornt is taken up by the large 3.2-inch capacitive AMOLED touchscreen with HVGA resolution (320 x 480 pixels) while on the back you'll find a promising 5 megapixel autofocus camera.

If you live otside Germany but are eager to get closer to the Samsung I7500, you can take a look at the preview of the Galaxy we posted a while ago.

    S5600V Blade

Samsung WM Gaming Watch Goes Beyond Portable Consoles

Samsung WM Gaming Watch Goes Beyond Portable Consoles

Ever since portable consoles were invented, they kept on shrinking and packing more features and innovative technologies like touchscreens, WiFi and more storage space. Now, it’s time for the console and watches to unite, thanks to Wilson Song’s concept: Samsung WM.

The device comes with earbuds and a pen that clips into the back panel of the console/watch. There’s also a giant display on board and a control system based on motion capture technology, plus a camera at the back, that checks out your thumbs and feet.

We also find out that the device can roll around the wrist, since it uses a flexible screen and we’re fascinated by the fact that you can control games on a watch by using your feet and hands. If this becomes real and we get to play GTA V on such a console, Sony and Nintendo are going to be history.

    S6700

Samsung S6700 has 120MB of internal memory, expandable by up to 16GB through the microSD card slot. It other noteworthy features are built-in GPS receiver, Bluetooth and USB.

The other mid-range offering, Samsung C5510 sports a 2.2" 16M color LCD display of QVGA resolution. Quad-band GSM support and dual-band UMTS, make it capable of worldwide roaming (although the 3G speeds won't be available everywhere).

Four new handsets with a distinct audiophile flavor appeared on the Samsung website today. The sliders Samsung S6700 and Samsung C5510 offer decent mid-range functionality, while the music-oriented duo Samsung M2510 and Samsung M2310 are targeted at music lovers on a tighter budget.

Easily, the most interesting of the bunch Samsung S6700 offers quad-band GSM and dual-band UMTS (with HSDPA 3.6Mbps) support. It packs a 2.4" QVGA LCD display, capable of showing up to 16 million colors. There's also a 3 megapixel autofocus camera on board, complemented by a dual LED flash.

    C5510

The camera onboard the Samsung C5510 has 2 megapixel resolution and sadly no autofocus. Bluetooth v2.1, USB v2.0 and a microSD card slot with support for up to 16GB memory cards complete the specs list.

Moving on to Samsung M2510 we see quad-band GSM support and a 2.2" TFT QCIF display. The 3G support has been sacrificed in order to bring the price down, but all music-related features seem intact.
