The Realme 9 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC and is capable of handling light to medium usage without any issues.
The Realme 9 5G packs in a 5,000mAh battery that was capable of delivering about a day and a half worth of battery life. It has support for 18W fast charging and the phone comes with a compatible charger in the box. In terms of software, the Realme 9 5G runs Realme UI 2.0 on top of Android 11 and had a fair amount of bloatware onboard.
At the back, the Realme 9 5G sports a triple camera setup consisting of a 48-megapixel primary camera, a black and white portrait camera and a macro camera. Photos clicked in daylight were decent but lacked details. Closeup, portraits and macros were a lot better. Lowlight camera performance was strictly average.
