Iphone Pro
23/09/2012 01:20
We’ve published an iPhone Pro concept before, but this new Pro model has nothing to do with the previous one, since it’s an even more evolved idea. The creation of Jinyoung Choi, the iPhone Pro has as main appealing feature the mount at the back supporting a variety of accessories, including DSLR lenses.

The handset comes with a 4.5 inch 1280 x 800 pixel display, a 1.2 megapixel 3D camera and a body that measures 9.6mm in thickness. The iPhone Pro uses a a wide LCD with 2 side buttons and the 3D camera cam hook up to a DSLR lens for the best of result. Projector capability and a portable speaker, plusa removable hard disk are all features compatible with this model. For all that DSLR processing I guess that a quad core Apple A6 processor is required and also a very sturdy body, to keep that photo taking accessory in place.
The projector accessory with speaker included is very cool looking and it’s brilliantly attached to that mount at the back. You could connect anything to that special port, that I consider to be a great idea. Kudos to the designer of this iPhone concept and I sure hope that Apple will take a cue from his ideas. Rumors say that we might actually see a 4.5 inch display on the iPhone 5, so fingers crossed.

Iphone 5 S
23/09/2012 01:15
It’s been a while since the last iPhone concept and here’s a fresh one by Hasan Kaymak. Meet the iPhone 5S, that features a quad core 1.5 GHz processor and a Full HD Retina Display. I guess that we’re at least one year away from 1080p phones, but if there’s anyone to debut that technology, then that’s Apple.

The iPhone 5S features a 2100 mAh battery, supports a wireless charging, Bluetooth 4.0 and iOS 6.0 as the software of choice. The device’s display diagonal is 4.5 inches and other features included are NFC, 4G LTE+ connectivity and Gorilla Glass 2 technology. The design is not something unexpected, to tell the truth: a slab of metal shaped in a rectangular form and looking a bit like a HTC meets an Xperia to me. There’s also a 12.1 megapixel iSight camera at the back, that I suppose will rule the cameraphone segment for years.
A quad core 1080p phone may happen towards the end of the year and it may come from Samsung, maybe HTC or maybe even Apple. I’m pretty sure they’ll move to quad core processing, but to 1080p not quite… Also, iPhone 5S makes me think about 2013 rather than 2012.

Ipad 4
23/09/2012 00:18
Now that the iPad 3 craze is over, it’s time to look into the future and catch a glimpse of the iPad 4. Luis Fonseca from Portugal had an idea for an iPad 4 concept, that involves a physical keyboard and an interesting design. This new iPad is based on other Apple products blended into a single unit.

The iPad 4 features a built in keyboard, that slides from the bottom of the slate. It features Bang & Olufsen speakers, a 12 megapixel 1080p camera, an aluminum frame and the ability to be easily maintained and recycled. The idea here is to design the perfect laptop replacement and also the complete tablet. With this new device, you’ll forever replace the need for a laptop or netbook. A portable hard disk is also included in this bundle to keep the data safe, but with iCloud out there, I don’t quite see the need for it.
From the looks of the device I imagine that there’s a way to prop up the screen and still use the keyboard, or else the typing angle would be weird. Also I’m hoping for maybe a 7 or 8 inch diagonal here to keep the device portable and turn it into the iPad Mini that everyone wants. What do you say? A quad core CPU would also fit right in!

Ipad mini
23/09/2012 00:12
If you want the ideal image of the iPad Mini look no further than Justin Quinn’s work. The designer from USA imagined the design, price and specs of the 7 inch iPad and created the device using 3Ds Max and rendering in V-Ray. We’re dealing here with a 7 inch slate, available only in WiFi version and with a single storage choice: 16GB.

The reasons behind the lack of storage choices and 3G are the cut down on costs. This iPad Mini concept features a 7 inch OLED display with 16:9 aspect ratio and 1280 x 720 pixel resolution. The supposed price of the gadget is $299 and users also get 4GB of free cloud storage, while other specs include an Apple A5x dual core 1 GHz proccessor, a front 2MP camera and back 5MP cam, the same sensor as on the new iPad. The battery should provide 12 hours of life and on the connectivity side we get Bluetooth 4.0 and WiFi.
To me this model looks more like a bigger iPhone, than a smaller iPad. I particularly like the shot that shows it playing video, since the bezel-free screen offers a great playback experience, apparently. The designer said nothing about the edge to edge screen, so maybe it’s just an optical illusion. Would you buy such a product?

Lumia 1001
20/09/2012 12:08
We have seen some lovely Nokia concept phones before, created by the sameJonas Daehnert and now here’s a fresh one. The Nokia Lumia 1001 is even more beautiful than the freshly launched Lumia 920 and 820 and it brings an air of elegance and finesse to the series. The new Lumias are bulky, massive and heavy, but this one seems slimmer.

I particularly like the lower side of the handset, that somehow seems a bit Apple-inspired to me, if I think about the iPhone 5 renders I’ve seen lately, which is a good thing. Under the display that I dare to speculate is a 4.5 inch HD unit, we find 3 capacitive buttons and on the side we find the buttons with a changed look. Gone are those faux metal buttons and here are some faux rubber ones, if I may say so. I can’t seem to spot a camera button, while at the top there’s a mystery tray, that’s actually prety big, big enough to host both the SIM and microSD together.
This is a fantastic design and the choice of color, that brown-gray is interesting. IF you look closely you’ll see that the top part is a bit sloped downwards, which is also a nice touch. I seem to spot a tiny LED next to the audio jack, also a nifty addition. And the front camera is more discrete than ever. And now some speculated specs: 4G LTE, dual core or quad core Snapdragon S4 CPU, 32 GB of storage, 1 GB of RAM, 12 megapixel PureView camera and 1280 x 768 pixel resolution. Too bad we can’t see this baby’s back!
