XPERIA X2 Live Pictures, By Muhammad-Oli

XPERIA X2 Live Pictures, By Muhammad-Oli

board has shown the world his concept phones in the past and they were all greatly appreciated, but this time we’re dealing with “live” photos of a device that doesn’t even exist yet: the XPERIA X2. How can this be achieved? Well, by Photoshopping a couple of photos and having seen and designed numerous XPERIA concepts…
This is Oli’s first live picture, pretty good for his first and we’re waiting for a brand new concept design soon, as the Esato board user claimed he has something up his sleeve.

    Vaio V580, QWERTY On Board

    Vaio V580, QWERTY On Board

Last time we saw a Vaio concept, it got so much hype that it seemed to be a real device, instead of a concept. Now, having a look at the Esato board, we discover take two of this idea, but magically touched by designer Shave A. Bygrave who added a QWERTY keypad in the mix.

I can’t really tell if that’s a virtual keyboard or a real one, but still good call!

Notice that there’s a 3.2 megapixel camera at the back, a poor choice for such a hot handset and Symbian 9.4 as its main platform.

“Mom, What’s for Dinner”; “XPERIA, Honey”; “Oh No, Not Again!”

“Mom, What’s for Dinner”; “XPERIA, Honey”; “Oh No, Not Again!”

Seriously now, aren’t you tired of XPERIA concept phones? Think I’ll take a break from those for a week… It’s not my fault that the Esato guys are so productive and creative these days. The latest XPERIA design comes from pavlov’s_dog and it’s still in the making.

After reading the small print, I discovered that it’s a device with a 540 x 960 QHD touchscreen, custom Symbian S60, an 8 megapixel autofocus camera, 3 versions of internal memory (8/16/32GB) and WiFi 802/1 b/g/n support. There’s also an M2/MicroSD slot on its specs list and a 3.5mm audio jack plus a miniUSB port.

    XPERIA X3 Would-Be Live Pics

    XPERIA X3 Would-Be Live Pics

They would be live pics if the phone were real and not only an extremely well done concept designed by tob!s from Esato, although some of the members of that board might disagree. The device is the new definition of glossy and its form factor resembles the iPhone quite a lot, although the XPERIA X3 is a tad longer.

I couldn’t help noticing that one of the photos of the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X3 concept posted on Esato was named “LG Renoir”… Could any of the photos above and below use Renoir as their Photoshopped “muse”? I’m just guessing here, so don’t throw stones…

    M8910 pixon

    M8910 pixon

Samsung have long been rumored to have a 12 megapixel cameraphone in the works. Well, now it sees daylight for the first time - meet the Pixon12 - the first 12MP cameraphone to hit the market, scheduled for a June launch.

The M8910 is the model number standing behind the Pixon12. The new cameraphone pointed as Sony Ericsson Satio (a.k.a. Idou) competitor makes its mark with a 3.1-inch AMOLED touchscreen with a highly advertised 10000:1 contrast.

And taking where the original Pixon left, the Samsun Pixon12 now sports Wi-Fi connectivity along with the GPS receiver.

The Samsung Pixon12 camera goes further in to the mobile photography offering a 28mm wide-angle lens, both a xenon and a power LED flash (how's that for a change), D1 video recording at 30fps, tracking Touch Auto Focus, Smart Auto mode changing with the lighting conditions and all the rest typical high-end camera features such as geo-tagging, face detection, etc.

The rest of the Samsung Pixon12 specs are close to what the the Samsung M8800 Pixon offered - 150MB internal storage and a microSD card slot, HSDPA support and Bluetooth.

The Samsung Pixon12 won't be a smartphone, so expect the usual Samsung TouchWiz UI with some visual upgrades. Responding to the reactions of the end users to the lack of Wi-Fi in the Pixon, Samsung will offer it here in the Pixon12.

Quite unfortunate for all of you that were finally sold after the Omnia HD, the Samsung Pixon12 will be available across the Europe in June and will be expanded worldwide in August to make this summer's cellphone choice that much harder. There is no word on pricing yet.
