Remember the hot Sony Ericsson Impersa concept we’ve shown you a couple of days ago? Well, aside from the original image of the device, we’ve now got a bunch of new shots, courtesy of its maker, Shane A. Bygrave. We remind you that this is Cyber-shot concept phone, with a 12.1 megapixel camera.
Also dubbed the Impersa HD, the device packs a 4.1 inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display with multi-touch support. The screen is protected against scratches, it supports portrait and landscape mode and you should know that the phone’s camera uses a Carl Zeiss lens, with autofocus, 3x optical zoom, XenonFlash, camera notification, self timer and night light.
A 3.5mm audio jack and a microSD card slot are also on the specs list of this concept. In the last image below, you can have a look at Impersa HD’s interface, looking pretty hot actually, specially if you take into account that this is a cameraphone.
Remort1 is a fresh name among the designers on the Esato board, but his creation is pretty decent: the Sony Ericsson iIMPERIA concept. This touchscreen phone is both a music handset and a cool cameraphone, as it sports an 8.1 megapixel camera at the back with flash, autofocus and video recording (we suppose).
Beneath the screen you’ll notice a couple of keys, among which there’s a Home button, a Call and Reject Call button, plus another 2 keys for menu features. I wonder if this is an Android handset or a Symbian one, considering Sony Ericsson’s latest preferences.
I wouldn’t mind seeing this as a fresh XPERIA device, specially due to the name resemblance and we look forward to seeing more projects from designer Remort1.
We’ve shown you the teaser of the Sony Ericsson Impersaconcept phone a couple of days ago and now we’ve finally managed to see the finalized project. If you’re worried that two pics are too little for such a hot 12.1 megapixel cameraphone, don’t fret, as designer Shane A. Bygrave has got more shots coming.
Impersa is a Sony Ericsson cameraphone, part of the Cyber-shot series and supporting 3x optical zoom. The handset supports photoblogging, MMS, email and packs a 4.1 inch AMOLED capacitive multi-touch display. This touchscreen supports 800 x 1200 pixels resolution and comes with 720p HD video recording at 30 fps.
The concept phone is also called Impersa HD and it weighs 124 grams, plus it measures 113 x 58 x 17mm. The device runs on Android Open Source OS and uses a 1 GHz Snapdragon processor, supports 4G connectivity, UMTS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, DLNA, USB, aGPS and GPS.
This cameraphone’s specs list also includes 512MB RAM, 1GB ROM, 4GB of internal memory and a microSD card slot with support for memory expansion of up to 120GB.
Le deuxième smartphone Windows Mobile du fabricant Sony Ericsson est annoncé. Le modèle Sony Ericsson Xperia X2 sous Windows Mobile 6.5 viendra compléter sa gamme côté Windows Phones.
Le smartphone Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 ouvrait début 2008 une nouvelle ère pour le fabricant nippo-sudois, celle de son soutien à la plate-forme Windows Mobile. Si depuis il a également fait part de son intérêt pour Google Android ( qui devrait se décliner sous la forme Xperia X3 ), c'est un deuxième Windows Phone qui est annoncé aujourd'hui avec le Sony Ericsson Xperia X2, sous Windows Mobile 6.5.
C'est un nouveau smartphone tout tactile et doté d'un clavier complet coulissant sur le côté qui est ainsi présenté, avec une dalle 3,2" offrant une résolution 800 x 480 pixels en 65 000 couleurs, pour des dimensions de 110 x 54 x 16 mm et un poids de 115 g.
Il est présenté comme un terminal polyvalent capable de faire profiter aussi bien de ses capacités de divertissement que de productivité. A cette fin, il dispose d'un mode SlideView fournissant un accès rapide aux fonctionnalités de l'appareil.
Caractéristiques On retrouvera le système de panneaux interactifs, avec un premier choix de 14 panneaux dédiés intégrés et une quinzaine supplémentaire accessible en téléchargement. Ce système de panneau, surcouche posée sur Windows Mobile 6.5, est largement personnalisable.
Le Sony Ericsson Xperia X2 est par ailleurs un téléphone portable quadribande GSM / GPRS / EDGE et tribande UMTS / HSPA. On y trouve les connectivités sans fil WiFi et Bluetooth, ainsi qu'un module A-GPS, une sortie TV et le support DNLA ( qui se généralise dans les téléphones Sony Ericsson ).
Au dos, on trouve un APN 8,1 megapixels avec autofocus, geotagging des clichés, stabilisation de l'image et possibilité d'enregistrement vidéo. La mémoire interne disponible pour l'utilisateur est de 110 Mo, extensible par un port pour cartes mémoire microSDHC.
L'autonomie annoncée est conséquente : 10 heures en conversation GSM, 6 heures en UMTS et de 500 à 600 heures en veille, la lecture audio seule offrant jusqu'à 20 heures de fonctionnement. Le Sony Ericsson Xperia X2 sera disponible au début du dernier trimestre 2009, en même temps que le lancement de Windows Mobile 6.5 le 6 octobre prochain.
Il embarquera donc le nouveau navigateur Internet Explorer Mobile et fournira un accès aux services My Phone et Windows Marketplace pour Mobile, le portail de téléchargement d'applications mobiles.

board member Jozef Kocúr has previously shown us a teaser of his Sony Ericsson Yanq D&G concept and now we have the opportunity of catching a glimpse of the final product. Keep in mind that this is only a design and not a real phone!
This Sony Ericsson handset comes with a sleek design, a full touchscreen display, probably some D&G content on board, Windows Mobile OS (or Symbian, maybe Android), a camera and menu buttons underneath the screen.
