We’ve shown you the teaser of the Sony Ericsson Impersaconcept phone a couple of days ago and now we’ve finally managed to see the finalized project. If you’re worried that two pics are too little for such a hot 12.1 megapixel cameraphone, don’t fret, as designer Shane A. Bygrave has got more shots coming.
Impersa is a Sony Ericsson cameraphone, part of the Cyber-shot series and supporting 3x optical zoom. The handset supports photoblogging, MMS, email and packs a 4.1 inch AMOLED capacitive multi-touch display. This touchscreen supports 800 x 1200 pixels resolution and comes with 720p HD video recording at 30 fps.
The concept phone is also called Impersa HD and it weighs 124 grams, plus it measures 113 x 58 x 17mm. The device runs on Android Open Source OS and uses a 1 GHz Snapdragon processor, supports 4G connectivity, UMTS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, DLNA, USB, aGPS and GPS.
This cameraphone’s specs list also includes 512MB RAM, 1GB ROM, 4GB of internal memory and a microSD card slot with support for memory expansion of up to 120GB.
Samsung vient de dévoiler le T939 Behold 2, un smartphone animé par le système d'exploitation Android dans sa version 1.5 ( Cupcake ) et profitant d'une jolie finition.
Compatible HSDPA et Wi-Fi, l'appareil embarque un grand écran AMOLED tactile 3,2 pouces gérant jusqu'à 16,7 millions de couleurs dans une résolution 320 x 480 pixels ( HSVGA ).
On note également la présence d'un appareil photo numérique 5 Mégapixels avec autofocus et flash LED, d'un lecteur audio-vidéo avec sortie casque 3,5 millimètres, d'un emplacement pour les cartes mémoire jusqu'à 16 Go, de la connectivité Bluetooth 2.1 et de la navigation GPS.
Et ce sont là les seules informations dont on dispose sur l'engin. Rien sur ses dimensions, son poids, la batterie livrée et l'autonomie procurée par cette dernière.
Prix et disponibilité : Rien pour l'instant concernant la disponibilité de ce modèle dans nos contrées. On sait seulement qu'il sera disponible outre-Atlantique courant novembre.

It's not every day we write about CDMA phones, but monsters like W880 are something we just can't miss. It's the world's first 12 megapixel cameraphone with 3x optical zoom, xenon flash and HD video recording at 30 frames. But even with the GSM capabilities, what is meant for South Korea stays in South Korea.

You probably remember the Samsung M8920, which leaked several months ago. While it's still in Rumorlandia, Samsung have just announced its Korean counterpart - the SCH-W880 or Anycall AMOLED 12M as its mundane name goes. Yes, it's a silly name, we know, but South Korea is a market that's entirely different from Europe or the Americas.
The W880 AMOLED 12M is the world's first 12 megapixel cameraphone with 3x optical zoom. Despite being mainly a CDMA mobile phone, the W880 will sport tri-band GSM connectivity and 3G connectivity (WCDMA 2100). But don't just open champagne yet as the W880 will remain exclusive for the South Korean market and the GSM radio will be used for roaming purposes only.
The Anycall (Samsung) W880 is not a smartphone, but boasts a 3.3-inch WVGA AMOLED capacitive touchscreen, 4GB internal memory, 12 megapixel camera with 3x optical zoom and variable aperture, xenon and power LED flashes, 720p@30fps video recording, T-DMB TV tuner, Bluetooth, microSD card slot, microUSB connectivity and 1100mAh Li-Ion battery.
We know for sure that the long-awaited European version (M8920) will swap the T-DMB TV tuner for the more practical Wi-Fi and GPS connectivity. Check out that shot for reference.
Another nice surprise we have for you today, is that we managed to grab a pre-release sample of the S. Korean W880 and we are seriously impressed by its imaging prowess.
As you will see the W880 AMOLED 12M is very impressive, capable and promising cameraphone, which really deserves a lot of attention. Here are three sample photos and a sample video to enjoy, while waiting for our live preview article later on today.
Having 720p HD video recording at 30fps on a mobile phone is a world's first as well. After all, the Omnia HD went only as high as 24 fps. The following sample will show you the excellent color rendering and the impressive detail the W880 provides even at this early stage.
The Samsung SCH-W880 AMOLED 12M will be sold only in Korea starting in early October, but you can be sure the worldwide GSM version is cooking in the Samsung labs and we should see it in the beginning of 2010.

Bientôt commercialisé en France, le Corby S3650, un mobile entièrement tactile, destiné aux jeunes adeptes du SMS et des réseaux sociaux n'est finalement que le prélude au lancement d'une gamme complète axée sur le design et ces usages. Deux nouveaux modèles viennent d'être annoncés par Samsung à Milan, capitale de la mode. Le Corby PRO B5310 se distingue par son large clavier azerty coulissant alors que le Corby TXT B3210, d'un format monobloc plus classique, intègre, lui, un vrai clavier fixe. Les deux modèles héritent, bien sûr, d'un design original, jeune et coloré.
Livré avec trois coques interchangeables comme le S3650, le Corby TXT, grâce à son clavier azerty, constitue un outil de choix pour communiquer par SMS, par e-mail ou au travers des messageries instantanées et des réseaux sociaux. Samsung offre à cet effet un accès facilité aux principaux réseaux, tels Facebook, MySpace, Flickr ou Picasa. Grâce à cet accès adapté à un téléphone mobile, équipé d'un petit écran (5,6 centimètres de diagonale), la non compatibilité du Corby TXT avec les réseaux 3G et 3,5G s'avère moins handicapante.
Malgré un prix à portée de toutes les bourses -y compris celles des jeunes-, le mobile est doté de fonctions multimédias certes d'entrée de gamme mais qui ont le mérite d'être complètes: un appareil photo deux mégapixels avec capture vidéo en 176x144 pixels, un lecteur MP3 et une radio FM avec RDS. Offrant une autonomie de cinq heures en conversation, selon Samsung, le Corby TXT n'intègre que 43 Mo de mémoire interne mais accepte les cartes microSD jusqu'à 16 Go.
Plus coûteux mais mieux équipé, le Corby PRO dispose d'une connectique Wi-Fi et 3,5G, facilitant ainsi l'accès à l'Internet mobile. Incluant un service de push mail et compatible Microsoft Exchange, il dispose aussi d'un capteur photo trois mégapixels. Comme les deux autres membres de la famille, il bénéficie d'une interface personnalisable au travers de trois univers dont celui de la bande dessinée.
Le Corby TXT devrait être disponible dans le courant du mois de Novembre 2009, à un prix oscillant entre 150 et 200 euros (hors prime opérateur). Samsung n'a, pour l'instant, pas confirmé si le Corby PRO serait commercialisé en France.
Samsung has announced the B3210 CorbyTXT, a successor to Samsung's Corby S3650 that continues the device's form factor and colorful casing.
The CorbyTXT is built with avid messengers in mind, with features that surround SMS and instant messaging and social networking, like a full-QWERTY keyboard.
The phone has a 2.2-inch, 262k color TFT display that should show photos taken with the 2.0 megapixel camera vividly. Users can listen to their MP3s from the phone's microSD card slot or make use of the FM radio with a 3.5mm audio port.
The Samsung B3210 CorbyTXT will be available in Europe by the end of September. Pricing and exact availability have not yet been announced.
