Macview Apple Tablet Concept Features Dual Touchscreen Displays
19/03/2010 18:35
The Apple iPad should be real in less than two days, but till its debut we feast our eyes with one more tablet concept, the Macview, created by Patrycjusz Brzezinski. This original device doesn’t feature a QWERTY keyboard, but it uses two touchscreen displays, one of them serving as the virtual keyboard.
Based on Mac OS X, this Apple Tablet is very slim, with a 7mm waistline and we learn that Macview also comes with a battery able to last 10 hours, 1TB SSD memory and 4GB RAM. WiFi and Bluetooth are also supported, as well as Ebooks, video playback and a 1152 x 720 pixel resolution.
Safari will be the browser of choice on this supposed iPad and if you’re wondering about size, the product measures 24 x 15.6 cm. I haven’t seen the real Apple device just yet, but if we were to believe the leaks online, this concept is far better than the real thing.

4G Concept and Roundup of Rumours Revealed; Front Camera and Touch Case Included
19/03/2010 18:33
We’re in 2010, folks, the year of the Apple Tablet debut and the iPhone 4G release, so let’s face it: we’ve got to prepare for the next gen iPhone. We don’t yet know if Apple will change the handset’s design, but we wouldn’t mind if it would look something like this:
There’s also a pretty neat roundup of rumours concerning the new device made by Cupertino, all of them comprised in the following image (click to enlarge). Among those, it’s very likely that the iPhone 4G will sport an OLED display, a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash, a front facing video camera and a dual core processor and more RAM.
It’s interesting to note that the launch of the product, supposed to take place between May and July is considered a 99% sure fact. Speculations regarding the next gen iPhone also mention the presence of a touch sensitive case (making the handset resemble the Magic Mouse), 64GB of NAND flash memory, portable DVR functionality and built-in RFID.

Tablet Concept Looks Surreal – Magic Slate, the Right Name
19/03/2010 18:31
Guess what we received on our email address a couple of days ago? Yes, you’ve got it, a brand new Apple Tablet concept and this time it’s dubbed both the iSlate and Magic Slate, so you can pick the name you like. The man behind this brilliant design is Rodolphe Desmare, who we thank and give thumbs up for his ideas.
The Magic Slate/iSlate looks like a full touchscreen device, incredibly thin and compatible with the famous iPhone apps, that’ll probably be reformatted for it. We’re really curious if the display is a 7 inch or a 10 inch screen, as the latest online speculations have claimed…
This might just be the very last concept we see before the real Apple Tablet gets launched. In case you forgot, Apple has an official event scheduled on January 26th (some say 27th), so we’ve got 20 more days of doubt and mystery.

Tablet Prototype by Lucas Rosa, a Combo Between Microsoft Courier and a WACOM
19/03/2010 18:28
Just when you think that everyone’s forgotten about the Apple tablet, here it comes again, smacking us right in the head with novelty. This time, we’re dealing with a prototype of the device, or better said some very cool photo manipulation and render, done by Lucas Rosa. This “miniature laptop in tablet form” is some sort of hybrid between Microsoft Courier and a WACOM tablet.
Nintendo DS was also used as an inspiration for the device, that supports gestures, like flipping virtual pages. Also, you should know that the iSlate or Netslate (would be names for the concept) measures about 14 x 21 cm and comes with two foldable parts, connected by a flexible hinge. The tablet uses the iPhone’s OS with some features taken from the desktop Mac OS X.
Pinching gesture is also supported, plus annotations, additional layers of information and even gaming, with virtual controls onscreen . The display on this tablet concept is an AMOLED, thin and energy saving, while the memory is all SSD. USB and FireWire are not included, but WiFi and Bluetooth are, as well as induction charging. Hot concept!
