iPhone 6 Concept Takes Us Even Further Into the Future
19/02/2011 02:00
Designer Archil Vardidze recently showed us a new iPhone concept, that moves even further away from the current innovations. This is the iPhone 6, that got rid of the antenna problem by moving it externally. Button material has changed and the device is based on an aluminum shell.

Solar batteries are also featured on this handset, expanding the life of the iPhone 6 and as far as the design is concerned, the new iPhone is more square-ish, but still slim. The look of the Home button has changed and it makes it look as if it has push levels, possibly for more than one command. Also, this iPhone seems a big longer and wider than its predecessors.
iPhone 7 anyone? What do you think about this device?

Apple iPad 2 Design, Created by Joy Studios
19/02/2011 01:56
The German firm Joy Studios sent us a tip concerning an iPad 2 design, that you can see after the break. There’s even a video of the device at the end of the article, if you’re interested. Turns out that this new slate runs iOS 4.2 and uses the iPhone 4 design traits. For more info be sure to read on.

Joy Studios’ creation supports WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, 3G+ connectivity and GPS, plus it incorporates a 3MP FaceTime camera and comes with a dock connector. Strangely enough, there’s also an SD card slot on this iPad 2 concept, a mini HDMI port, but the display is the same 9.7 inch multitouch screen, with a good resolution: 1920 x 1280 pixels.
As far as memory is concerned, you get either 32, 64 or 128 gigs of storage. Basically this is a larger iPhone 4, with some design traits borrowed from the first iPad. If this were real, how much would you spend for it?

iPhone 5 Concept, Possibly the Very First One!
19/02/2011 01:47
We all know that the iPhone 4 was very much a failure, compared to the previous Apple handsets, so the need for a new device to repair the brand is great. Thus, we give you the iPhone 5 concept, the very first of its kind, unless there’s some other design out there.
For starters, the new iPhone will get rid of the antenna issues and it’ll be extremely flat, as seen in the image above. On the left side you’ll find a touch volume control mechanism, well, the entire left side will serve for that purpose, to be more precise. You’ll move your finger from bottom to top in order to reduce the volume.
iPhone 5 supports 4G connectivity (100 Mb/s in download) and it comes with adjustable backlight and the same great Retina Display on the iPhone. The camera at the back will be a 10.2 megapixel unit and the internal memory will be either 32GB or 64GB. A better battery will also be in the mix. What do you say? A mere project or something close to reality?

We usually deal with phones on this site, but this iPhone 4 accessory was simply too cool to ignore. We’re talking about the steel case pictured below, designed by Ryan Glasgow for LtdTools. Believe it or not, the product has become real and it’s available on the market for $95 and it solves the iPhone 4 antenna issues.
Its features include a stainless steel body, an elastic band that allows the case to hold cards, delrim fastener housings, a hinged lid and tabs for easy opening. The large camera cutout leaves enough room for the wide angle iPhone 4 flash on the device and the case’s backplate was removed, as you can see in the images, to reduce weight.
Sure wish Apple was handing out such cases for free…

iPad Gets Camera Via Concept Case Accessory
19/02/2011 01:40
Everyone wants a piece of that Facetime action on the iPhone 4 and some are not afraid to get it, as shown by the following iPad case concept. Created by Chet Rosales, this Apple tablet accessory is called iPad Cam-Case and it finally implements a camera on the famous slate.
Said camera can be rotated and used to capture the user’s face during a videochat session. You’ll find the video capture component in the corner of the case, working in both landscape and portrait views. The case relies on a rubber-plastic layer for extra grip.
Also, this accessory’s bottom half slides you can insert the iPad in it and there’s a port at the bottom for docking purposes.
